Melissa Riley grew up on a ranch near Dillon, Montana, where the wide-open spaces and rugged landscapes instilled in her a strong work ethic and love for the outdoors. Her upbringing fostered a deep appreciation for nature and community, values that continue to shape her life and career.
She earned an associate's degree in Office Systems Technology from the University of Montana Western before pursuing a degree in Secondary Education, majoring in Business with a minor in Mathematics. For ten years, she taught math, finding joy in helping students succeed. Seeking to expand her impact, she earned a master’s degree in School Education from the University of Billings.
In 2016, Melissa transitioned into counseling, opening her private practice in Butte, Montana, as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). In 2020, she relocated to Anaconda, where she continues to support individuals on their journey to mental wellness.
Beyond her career, Melissa is a devoted wife and mother of two. She and her family enjoy Montana’s great outdoors through hunting, fishing, camping, and horseback riding. Whether in education, counseling, or outdoor adventures, she is committed to uplifting those around her and helping them reach their full potential.
Terri Vaughn holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and is a licensed school counselor with a deep passion for brain-based healing. She specializes in the brain-body connection and is committed to helping clients regulate their nervous systems, improve cognitive function, and find relief from trauma, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Terri uses a combination of neuroscience-based methods, cutting-edge technology, and holistic modalities such as trauma-focused equine-assisted services to promote lasting well-being and inner peace. Her work is driven by a profound belief in the body’s ability to heal when given the right support and environment. Terri is dedicated to creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and journey, empowering them to take charge of their mental and emotional health. Her compassionate approach fosters a safe space where clients can explore and heal at their own pace, with the ultimate goal of helping them achieve greater emotional resilience and overall wellness
Lora began her college and professional career with a volleyball scholarship to the University of Great Falls and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, emphasizing criminal justice, from Montana State University. She spent several years working in the mental health field in Butte and Missoula before deciding to further her education in 2013. She attended Montana State University’s graduate program, earning a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counseling and completing her Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) certification in 2016.
Lora gained extensive experience working in a secure Department of Corrections facility in Boulder, MT, where she provided support to female felons in a nine-month intensive residential program. In 2020, she decided to advance her career further and enrolled in Montana State University-Billings’ Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation program. She graduated in December 2023 and is currently working toward dual licensure as an LAC and PCLC.
Passionate about both mental and physical health, Lora is excited to bring her expertise to Anaconda Neurofeedback, where she continues to pursue her commitment to helping others heal and thrive.
